
Donika Balabanova, Director of the Agency for people with disabilities, Tryavna
The Bulgarian partner in Paraskills Project, the Adam Smith College of Management, is pleased to announce that they have established a partnership with the Local branch of the Agency for people with disabilities in the town of Tryavna, Gabrovo Region.
In a meeting with the director, Mrs Donika Balabanova, the Adam Smith College’s director Mr Andy Stoycheff and project coordinator Mrs Gergana Pencheva reached a shared understanding of the important place of role models in the process of labour and social inclusion of people with disabilities. An action plan for Paraskills activities in Bulgaria was drafted, and a preliminary agreement was reached to have the town of Tryavna and the kind hospitality of the local Agency for the National Paraskills Competitions.
In the next months, the two organisations will work together closely on preparing teams of participants in a range of occupational areas.
